How the day works, step by step
- Meeting point. Kimbe Hotel Boutique, Playa del Carmen.
- Briefing. Dive plan, drift entry and group positioning.
- Dive 1. Main reef with barrel sponges, sea fans and fish schools.
- Surface interval. Interval on board with hydration.
- Dive 2. Second, shallower reef to close the trip.
- Return. Back to port and gear rinse. Total duration around 4 hours.

Is dive gear included?
No. On this trip full dive equipment is not included in the base price: it costs US$21 per person. If you bring your own gear, you do not pay that charge.
How does it compare to Cozumel?
Cozumel has deeper walls and extreme visibility; Playa del Carmen is more accessible, with relief, big sponges and — in winter — bull sharks minutes away.
Can I combine it with cenotes?
Yes, it is the favourite combination: reef one morning, cenote the next day. Message us and we will build the package.
How much does diving in Playa del Carmen cost?
The two-tank trip is US$149 per person and includes both dives, a certified guide and conservation fees. Full dive equipment is separate: US$21 per person. If you bring your own gear, you do not pay that charge.
