Scuba & Adventours opened in September 2020, but the team has been diving this coast for over twelve years. Since then we have taken travellers from around the world to discover the reefs, cenotes and marine life of the Mexican Caribbean. What began as a passion for diving became a professional operation that has guided more than 8,000 divers, from first-timers to certified divers chasing the adrenaline of bull sharks.
We believe a great dive experience is built on two things: real safety and respect for the ocean. That is why we work with small groups and certified instructors — and why we say no when conditions do not cooperate.
We do not operate from an office in another city. We live here, we dive these sites every week and we know their rhythms: when the current picks up at Punta Cancun, what time the light beams at 7 Bocas go vertical, which cenote is perfect when a norther closes the sea.

'Responsible tourism' gets said a lot and practised rarely, so here is what it means in our case: mandatory reef-safe sunscreen, zero contact with wildlife, strict respect for the minimum distances set by protected areas, mooring buoys instead of anchoring on coral, and a real cap on people per guide.
On the whale shark swim that means two swimmers per turn, never more. With bull sharks, bait-free natural observation as the default option. And in cenotes, strict buoyancy control so we never stir up silt.
