Terms and conditions
Last updated: 24 August 2026.
1. Scope
These terms govern the booking of diving, snorkelling and training experiences offered by Scuba & Adventours (Scuba Adventours Mexico) through this website, WhatsApp, email or any other channel.
2. Bookings and confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and are only considered confirmed once we expressly notify you. Published prices are stated in Mexican pesos (MXN) and include the items listed on each experience page. Items listed under "what's not included" do not form part of the price.
3. Participation requirements
Each experience states its certification, minimum age and prior experience requirements. It is the participant's responsibility to provide accurate information about their certification level, recent experience and state of health. We reserve the right to refuse participation to anyone who does not meet the stated requirements, cannot present a certification card, or presents medical conditions incompatible with the activity, without any entitlement to a refund.
4. Safety and weather cancellations
Diving takes place in the natural environment. We reserve the right to change the dive site, reschedule or cancel a trip due to weather, sea state, visibility, port closure or any circumstance that compromises safety. In that case we will offer an alternative date or a refund of the amount paid.
5. Customer cancellations
Cancellation conditions will be communicated when your booking is confirmed, according to the type of experience and how far in advance it is. Private charters and courses, which involve exclusive reservation of a boat and instructor, may be subject to specific conditions.
6. Flying after diving
For safety reasons, you must not fly for 18 hours after your last dive. It is the participant's responsibility to plan their itinerary accordingly. We accept no liability for missed flights or bookings arising from planning incompatible with this recommendation.
7. Seasonal activities
The whale shark swim (May to September) and bull shark diving (November to March) depend on seasonal natural phenomena. Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. The service contracted is the guided trip with the resources described, not the sighting itself.
8. Liability
We operate to international diving standards with certified staff. The participant acknowledges that diving carries inherent risks and undertakes to follow the guide's or instructor's instructions at all times, as well as the safety protocols communicated during the briefing. Failure to follow these instructions releases the company from liability for any resulting harm.
9. Photography and content
Unless you tell us otherwise, we may use images taken during activities for promotional purposes. If you prefer not to appear in them, let us know before the trip.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Mexican law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts of Cancun, Quintana Roo, without prejudice to consumer rights under the Federal Consumer Protection Law.
