This privacy policy is issued in compliance with Mexico's Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) and its implementing regulations.

1. Data controller

Scuba & Adventours (Scuba Adventours Mexico), located at Mza 07 Lt 01 c 61A, Región Paraíso Alegre, Av. Las Torres, 77533 Cancún, Quintana Roo, México, is responsible for processing your personal data.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data you voluntarily provide through the contact form, WhatsApp or email: name, email address, phone number, approximate activity date and the experience you are interested in. To deliver the diving service we may additionally request certification details, medical information relevant to dive safety and an emergency contact.

3. Purposes of processing

Primary purposes (necessary for the contractual relationship): responding to your enquiry, managing and confirming your booking, coordinating activity logistics, meeting applicable safety requirements and diving standards, issuing receipts and following up after the service.

Secondary purposes (optional): sending you information about new experiences, seasons and offers. You may object to these purposes at any time by writing to scuba.adventours@gmail.com, without affecting the service you have booked.

4. Data transfers

We do not sell, assign or trade your personal data. It may only be shared with providers necessary to deliver the service (boat operators, transport providers, payment processors and certifying agencies such as PADI when you book a course), all of whom are bound to maintain confidentiality. Data may also be transferred where required by a competent authority.

5. ARCO rights

You have the right to Access your personal data, Rectify it where inaccurate, request its Cancellation where you consider it is not required for any of the stated purposes, and Object to its processing for specific purposes. You may also withdraw your consent.

To exercise any of these rights, send your request to scuba.adventours@gmail.com stating your full name, a means of contact, a clear description of the right you wish to exercise and documents proving your identity. We will respond within a maximum of 20 business days.

6. Cookies and tracking technologies

This site may use first- and third-party cookies for analytics purposes, in order to understand how the site is used and improve it. You can configure your browser to refuse them; this does not prevent use of the site, although it may limit some features.

7. Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your personal data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, or unauthorised use, access or processing.
