Diving cenotes 7 Bocas and La Maravilla

7 Bocas takes its name from the seven openings that let light into the system. The result is a run of luminous columns among mangrove roots that shifts with the hour of the day. La Maravilla, deeper and with open sections, adds contrast and a sense of space that is rare in cenotes.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

When do the light beams look best?
The higher the sun, the more vertical and defined the light columns. Mid-morning departures usually give the best photographic result.
Is it suitable as my first cenote?
Yes. 7 Bocas and La Maravilla are Open Water accessible and less demanding than The Pit or Zapote. Along with Dos Ojos, one of the best places to start.
Is transport included?
This trip departs from Cancun or the Riviera Maya. Ask us about the meeting point and hotel pick-up options when you book.
