PADI Open Water Diver: your first certification
The most recognized certification in the world and the starting point. You get a lifelong license that lets you dive with a buddy to 18 meters.
- Requirements: no previous experience.
- Duration: 2 to 3 days.
- Structure: digital theory, pool practice and 4 open-water dives.
PADI Advanced Open Water: level up
For already-certified divers who want more experience. No exams: you learn by diving. It qualifies you to 30 meters and more dive types.
- Requirements: Open Water certification.
- Duration: 2 to 3 days.
- Structure: 5 adventure dives (deep and navigation required + 3 specialties to choose).
How much does it cost in Cancún?
Open Water from MX$8,700 and Advanced from MX$8,200. They include instructor, materials and dives. Location, date and group are coordinated when you book.
