Located off the coast of Isla Mujeres and Cancun, MUSA (Museo Subacuático de Arte) is an underwater sculpture park that serves as a mesmerizing backdrop for your first scuba diving experience. Join us as we venture beneath the surface to explore this unique underwater gallery and discover the magic of scuba diving in one of the world’s most captivating settings.

MUSA Cancun is unlike any other dive site in the world, offering divers the opportunity to explore a submerged art installation comprised of over 500 sculptures. Created by renowned artists, these sculptures serve as artificial reefs, providing habitat for marine life and promoting coral growth. As you descend into the crystal-clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, you’ll be greeted by a stunning array of sculptures, ranging from human figures to intricate geometric shapes, all adorned with colorful coral and marine organisms.

Our Discover Scuba Diving experience at MUSA Cancun is led by experienced instructors who are passionate about sharing the beauty of the underwater world with novice divers. With safety as our top priority, our instructors provide thorough briefings and personalized guidance to ensure a safe and enjoyable diving experience for all participants. If you’re a first-time diver, our team is dedicated to making your underwater adventure unforgettable.

In addition to exploring the captivating sculptures of MUSA Cancun, you will have the opportunity to encounter a diverse array of marine life. From colorful tropical fish and graceful rays to curious sea turtles and elusive moray eels, every dive promises an up-close encounter with the wonders of the Caribbean Sea. Our instructors will help you identify marine species and provide insights into their behavior, enhancing your appreciation for the delicate balance of life beneath the waves.

Important information

  • No previous dive experience required
  • Review of a medical questionnaire pre-activity
  • We conduct a theorical class and pool training dive, followed by two ocean dives
  • Duration: 5 hours
  • Maximum depth: 33 Feet (10 m)
  • Departure: Available daily at (11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.)
  • Morning departure available with a group minimum of 3 (8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.)

Itinerary 

  • Check-in at the Hotel Real Inn Cancun (11:00 a.m.)
  • Theorical class and pool training dive (11:10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.)
  • Two dives in different sites ((12:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.))
